Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat, where impact, innovation and growth drive everything we do. Our Brand & Experience team builds meaningful connections between Deliveroo and the communities we serve. Across campaigns, product moments and every customer touchpoint, we combine creativity, insight and execution to shape how Deliveroo shows up in the world.

We’re looking for a Social Content Creator who lives and breathes social to ramp up our always-on content. Someone who can spot trends early, turn ideas into content fast, and create native, thumb-stopping videos that feel at home on TikTok and Instagram. This role is perfect for a creative, social-first thinker who understands what people want to watch, share and engage with, and knows how to bring that to life quickly. You’ll think like a creator, but understand how to do so on behalf of a brand - producing high volumes of reactive, lo-fi, culturally relevant content that helps Deliveroo show up in the moments people care about.

This role will sit within the Brand Social and Digital Creative team, working closely with the Social Media Executive, agencies, and internal teams to develop social media content that builds brand awareness, consideration and engagement for Deliveroo with support from the Social Media Manager, Head of Social Media and our internal studio.

You’ll be responsible for producing in-house content, jumping on trends, and acting as the voice of Deliveroo across our channels - building a strong, distinctive presence that resonates with our audience.

This role is hybrid, based in the London HQ office 3 days a week and reports into the Social Media Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Creating social-first content in-house across platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts), including ideation, filming, editing and copywriting

  • Creating content that feels native to each platform (not polished ads), using trends, formats and creator-style storytelling

  • Developing reactive, trend-led content that taps into cultural moments

  • Working closely with the Social Media Executive and Social Media Manager to bring the always on social strategy and content calendar to life

  • Collaborating with the Social Media Executive to oversee day-to-day community management across all channels, including comments, DMs and mentions. Finding opportunities to create content in response and drive brand-led conversations and engagement (not customer service handling)

  • Acting as the voice of Deliveroo on social, ensuring tone of voice is consistent, engaging and culturally relevant

  • Identifying opportunities for real-time engagement and reactive content

  • Collaborating with agencies and on some campaign level content production

  • Feeding insights from the community into content ideas and future planning

  • Monitoring social trends, creators and formats to keep Deliveroo at the forefront of culture

  • Supporting performance tracking by highlighting what content is resonating and why

Requirements

  • 1–3+ years of experience in social media content creation

  • Strong understanding of all the main social media channels

  • A creative eye and strong instinct of what will (or won’t) work on social, you know when something feels off, forced or “too brand”

  • Proven ability of developing a brands visibility across social media channels and producing engaging social content (portfolio or examples preferred)

  • Proven track record of success in growing followers and engagement on social media platforms for a brand

  • Strong understanding of platform trends, formats and internet culture

  • Experience with filming and editing content (e.g. mobile-first, TikTok-style content)

  • Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite

  • Excellent copywriting skills and a strong sense of tone of voice

  • Confidence managing and engaging with online communities

  • Ability to work quickly, creatively and reactively

  • A highly collaborative mindset and willingness to experiment

  • Flawless written English

  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • A self-starter who is comfortable with constant change

  • Enthusiastic and collaborative team player
