Are you passionate about creating impactful events that shape the future of the renewable energy industry? We’re looking for a dynamic and driven Conference Producer to join our team. This role is at the heart of content creation, speaker engagement, and event profitability, combining strategic thinking, market research, and operational excellence to deliver exceptional conferences.
As a Conference Producer, you’ll identify emerging trends, craft compelling agendas, and deliver revenue-driven events that resonate with audiences and sponsors alike. You’ll collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure seamless event execution while driving innovation and thought leadership in the renewable energy sector.

What You’ll Be Doing
Research and Insight
- Conduct in-depth desk research to map industry trends and opportunities.
- Arrange and lead structured research calls and interviews to gather actionable insights.
- Analyze audience and sponsor needs to shape event strategies that deliver value.
Event Design and Agenda Creation
- Identify and define engaging, commercially viable conference topics.
- Transform research findings into compelling, well-structured event agendas.
- Design innovative formats such as panels, roundtables, and workshops, while identifying profitable add-ons.
Speaker Engagement
- Research, identify, and secure high-profile speakers who align with event themes.
- Craft persuasive outreach communications and manage speaker relationships from invitation to event day.
- Ensure smooth coordination with speakers pre-event and onsite.
Marketing and Content Creation
- Write engaging marketing copy for websites, brochures, and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create sponsorship and delegate sales briefs that drive interest and revenue.
- Leverage social media platforms like LinkedIn to promote events and build your professional network.
Driving Event Profitability
- Develop commercially attractive conference programs with strategic ticket pricing.
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to maximize sponsorship and delegate revenue opportunities.
- Monitor event budgets and ensure financial targets are met.
Event Delivery and Execution
- Host and manage conference sessions onsite, ensuring smooth coordination with speakers and team members.
- Collaborate with event managers to deliver seamless, high-quality events.
Collaboration and Leadership
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and operations teams to align strategies and ensure event success.
- Mentor junior team members, sharing your expertise and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Tools and Technology
- Use platforms like Salesforce, Aventri, WordPress, and MapYourShow to streamline event planning and reporting.
- Experience: At least one year of experience in a similar role involving live content development and production.
- Industry Knowledge: Prior experience or knowledge in manufacturing, electronics, energy storage, or automotive is a bonus.
- Exceptional Skills: Strong scheduling, organizational, and communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Copywriting Expertise: Proven ability to write marketable session descriptions and agendas.
- Multi-Tasking Pro: Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Research Savvy: Comfortable with cold-calling potential speakers and alumni delegates/attendees for research.
