The Conference and Training Producer will be primarily working within the Central Banking & Risk Learning training and events portfolio.

Responsibilities

As a key member of the global events team, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Writing market-leading conference and training agendas on technical topics such as economics and monetary policy, financial stability, instant payments, bank regulation, sovereign asset management, and central bank digital currencies.
  • Building contacts and technical knowledge quickly within the central banking community, financial sector, and academia.
  • Working with the sales team to ensure conferences reach and exceed commercial targets.
  • Innovating content and formats to improve sponsor and delegate experiences.
  • Conducting market research through desk-based work, phone and in-person interviews, and external event attendance.
  • Managing full speaker research, acquisition, and relationships.
  • Producing briefs for marketing, sales, and telesales to explain your events to wider teams.
  • Leading projects to ensure conference milestones are met across production, marketing, sales, and operations.
  • Acting as a professional and personable client-facing representative.
  • Confidently running on-site events and training programmes, serving as speaker liaison.
  • Representing your events and acting as their ambassador within the industry.
  • Creating and contributing to marketing collateral to attract sponsors, delegates, and media partners.
  • Writing exceptional copy across digital and print channels.
  • Proofreading with excellent attention to detail.
  • Managing conference timelines and KPIs.
  • Updating event content and speaker information on relevant systems and platforms

Requirements

Our ideal candidate will be an experienced senior conference producer or conference manager looking to join an unparalleled brand in financial services.

  • Proven experience in a conference or events research environment.
  • Knowledge of the financial sector and central banks.
  • Strong commercial experience with a track record of driving profit growth.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and time management.
  • Strong organisational and project leadership abilities.
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Degree-level education (or equivalent), preferably in English, History, Politics/Economics, business, science, or a technical discipline.
