We are on the lookout for a skilled Compliance Officer to become an integral part of our remarkable Legal team. Are you the exceptional professional we've been searching for?
What We Need From You:
In this dynamic role, you will be at the forefront of ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards. You will have the exciting opportunity to:
- Manage the handling, filing, and scanning of KYC documents and agreements for various entities.
- Complete due diligence forms for multiple entities.
- Collaborate closely with regulatory authorities, including the Malta Business Register amongst others, through various communication channels and occasional office visits.
- Coordinate the submission of applications to regulatory bodies and ensure timely follow-up.
- Update registry documents for diverse entities within multiple jurisdictions.
- Facilitate the opening and maintaining of bank accounts across different jurisdictions.
- Organize and categorize incoming and outgoing legal documents.
- Draft a variety of documents, including agreements, letters, resolutions, and corporate charts.
- Liaise with partners and agents to fulfill legal document requests.
- Assist senior management with legal matters, particularly in compliance and KYC areas
- Any other ad-hoc duties that may be required from time to time to fulfil the business needs
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory role.
- Strong knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry standards applicable to the company's operations.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements to business practices.
- Experience in conducting audits and investigations.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Professional certifications in compliance or related field are a plus.
