The role

This role is key to delivering the Compliance Monitoring Plan. You’ll carry out monitoring and testing, maintain accurate records, and escalate issues where needed. Managing the StarCompliance portal will be part of your remit, ensuring data is accurate and supporting colleagues with compliance queries. Your attention to detail and ability to improve processes will help strengthen our compliance framework.

This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.

The person

We’re looking for someone with at least one years’ experience in compliance monitoring within financial services and a graduate-level education or an industry recognised qualification (e.g. Investment Operations Certificate (IOC)). A good understanding of FCA regulations is important, especially those relating to regular activities like Personal Account Dealing, Gifts & Entertainment, etc. Experience with using compliance systems such as StarCompliance, voice call recording platforms and company policy frameworks will be highly valued. Some knowledge of Asset Management would also be desirable.

Integrity and diligence are fundamental. You’ll bring a proactive approach, strong attention to detail, and clear communication skills. Collaboration is key, working closely with colleagues across the business while demonstrating empathy and alignment with our values. We value individuals who foster trust, support others, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Our values of integrity, community and alignment are the guiding principles that influence our behaviour. They help us make decisions and shape our relationships with others. They’re what we stand for. You will actively demonstrate our values, helping to create a safe environment, to place the needs of the community above oneself and, through a culture of ‘fair challenge’, align to the best interests of our members.
