Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):
- Deliver compliance oversight and management for our stakeholders
- Oversee and manage compliance across all areas of the business from managing supplier due diligence and responding to client RFIs; to supporting business continuity planning and developing new compliance policies and delivering training to the business
- Work closely with the wider Governance Department and Corporate Services
- Investigate and respond to alleged violations of our compliance policies
- Lead the annual risk review process and managing the corporate risk register
- Be the go-to person for advice on compliance matters, keeping on top of latest developments in relevant legislation and implementing appropriate changes were needed
- Embed new compliance practices into the business
- Identify areas of inefficiency and create new processes to resolve them
- Develop and deliver management information on Governance Department activities, including metric
- Drive compliance with mandatory training
- Be the Compliance advisor to the Data Privacy & Security Committee
- Manage submissions to the Ethics Committee
- Manage 2 direct reports
These are the essential you will need to get an interview:
- Demonstrable UK and Global experience are essential
- Experienced drafting policies and procedures; developing new processes
- Experienced trainer (in-person and remotely)
- Proficient in investigative skills
- Strong numerical and analytical abilities, as the role involves data analysis

- Experience of implementing an ISO or SOC 2 standard management system
- Experience in data security and privacy
- ICA qualification
