As a Compliance Manager, you'll oversee conduct risk frameworks, manage regulatory returns, improve compliance processes, and help mentor junior team members.
The Group Compliance function at Convex ensures that we meet regulatory requirements across all product lines and countries within which we operate. Given Convex's rapid growth, global distribution model, and potential regulatory changes, this role offers a unique opportunity to be involved in all aspects of compliance at a global level. As a Compliance Manager, you will take ownership of your responsibilities while collaborating effectively with the wider team and will play a key role in driving Convex’s vision to become our clients' favourite insurer. You’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders across the business, nurturing relationships according to the Convex values.
Some of the key tasks may include:
• Day-to-day ownership of the Conduct Risk Framework including complaints handling, monitoring reviews, policy management and training.
• Provide second line management of the product oversight and governance process.
• Responsibility for managing and completing the regulatory returns specific to Compliance across all Convex entities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally in developing and overseeing assurance processes.
• Conduct compliance reviews and action findings in a manner that harmonises compliance policies / frameworks and our strategic objectives.
• Help drive data and technology to make better Compliance decisions within the team and across the business.
• Guide and develop more junior members of the team.
• Get involved and help drive strategic projects for the team and the business.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise
• Proven experience in a Compliance function for a regulated insurance entity preferably within the Lloyd’s market.
• Inquisitive with a passion for learning and desire to always improve.
• Analytical mindset and robust attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, making decisions, while proving to be effective in stakeholder management.
• Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally, balancing collaboration and challenge.
