This Position reports to:

Finance Manager


 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure that the new ABB Robotics organization operates in full compliance with fiduciary, statutory, and regulatory requirements across all relevant jurisdictions. Each day, you will implement and maintain core governance structures, provide reliable analysis of financial results, and support high-quality business planning and reporting processes. Through your work, you will contribute directly to safeguarding the financial integrity of the NewCo and enabling informed decision-making at all organizational levels.

The work model for the role is: hybrid #LI-Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Robotics Finance organization in DACH. Main stakeholders are GBS Finance, Local Finance & Tax, external auditors, Group Finance, and local authorities.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Develop and maintain fiduciary and governance dashboards, ensuring robust internal controls and compliance with corporate standards

  • Support CFO organization in financial reporting, planning, budgeting, and forecasting, delivering accurate and timely insights for decision-making

  • Validate financial data and statutory submissions, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with local reporting requirements

  • Collaborate with GBS Finance teams to define fiduciary obligations and secure delivery of statutory reporting activities.

  • Coordinating with external auditors by providing required data and documentation and supporting audit-related inquiries.

  • Serve as primary liaison with tax authorities, managing communications, coordinating data collection, and monitoring changes in local tax legislation

  • Prepare statutory GAAP reports in alignment with company policies and legal timelines

Qualifications for the role

  • You are highly skilled in financial governance frameworks, fiduciary processes, statutory reporting requirements, and data-driven analysis within the industrial/technology/manufacturing sector.

  • You have 3+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Audit, or Fiduciary/Statutory Reporting.

  • You bring strong proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel capabilities.

  • You have a depth knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; a CPA or equivalent certification is a plus You are at ease communicating in English and German.

  • You hold current work authorization for Germany and any country-specific permits where required.
