Job Title: Communications Manager   

Location: We are seeking a Communications Manager to join our Public Affairs, Marketing Communications and Sustainability team. This position is based at our offices in Pencoed, South Wales.

Your Future Team:

Reporting into the Public Affairs, Marketing Communications and Sustainability Director, this person will be supporting the delivery of the business strategy, company culture, and sustainability goals by delivering meaningful internal and external communications.

What you will be doing:

  • Developing and delivering internal and external communications plans that are aligned to the strategic and employee needs of the business
  • Developing a range of communications channels and platforms to reach colleagues across the business including operational, office and field-based teams
  • Acting as an advisor to the Management Team on internal communications activities, particularly around change management, employee engagement, and leadership communication
  • Sourcing and create opportunities for relevant internal and external communications to support the company’s strategic, brand, sustainability and people goals
  • Collaborating with colleagues at ROCKWOOL Group to roll-out Group wide communications campaigns
  • Taking a data-driven approach using metrics and insight to refine communications approaches across multiple channels and platforms
  • Supporting crisis communications planning, training and management, including coordinating media enquiries
  • Working effectively with third party suppliers including designers, software providers and PR agencies to create assets and outputs

What you bring:

  • Previous experience across both internal and external communications
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Capability to understand complex communication issues
  • Ability to simplify complex information and make relevant to the audience
  • An enthusiastic and energetic approach to work
