🚀 Exciting VIE Opportunity: Commercial Key Account Manager (London, United Kingdom) 🚀

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

• Support in driving sales growth by identifying key opportunities. Assist in growing market share/value with key retail customers as per the defined remit

• Work closely with the Customer Marketing team, finance, and operations teams.

• Forecast customer volumes in line with company expectations.

• Identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the industry; analysing customer needs and preferences and using that information to assist line manager(s) in developing sales and marketing strategies.

• Conduct regular analysis of sales data and reports with input.

• Track major competitor activity and report potential impact on key Pernod Ricard brands.

• Report and complete monthly analysis in line with business requirements.

• Manage travel/business costs in line with budgets.

• Ad hoc duties as required.

Key Relationships

• To develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders:

  • Within team: work closely with other sales and marketing team members

  • Within business unit: work closely with other Key account Managers from other regions and trade marketing

  • Internal: finance, marketing, supply chain departments

  • External: main account contacts and key customers as well as agencies and brand Ambassadors

• To identify and build strong partnerships to maximise growth opportunities.

Competencies and Qualifications Required

  • Degree educated

  • Good interpersonal skills, team player, collaborative

  • Autonomous, rigorous, details oriented with good analytical skills.

  • Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint knowledge

  • Fluent in English

  • An additional language, especially German is a plus

Experience

  • Previous commercial and account management experience

  • Previous experience in the Spirits industry or Travel retail is a plus
