We’re hiring for a Commercial Finance Business Partner to join our Commercial Finance team in London supporting dentsu Creative.
Purpose of the Role
As Commercial Finance Business Partner you’ll work with client leads to drive growth, enhance profitability and cash flow, and minimise risk across dentsu Creative. You’ll contribute to and review budgets and forecasts in collaboration with the central FP&A team, ensuring a consistently high standard of quality, accuracy, and rigour and driving continuous improvements on Commercial Finance and FP&A ways of working.
You’ll deliver value-added insights, constructively challenge the business, conduct robust analysis and provide clear, actionable recommendations. You’ll also be a key contributor to new business planning and the forward looking Agency Business Model.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the forecasting and delivery of the Client revenues, working with the central FP&A team.
- Partner with Client Leads to develop client growth and margin plans/roadmaps and performance tracking tools.
- Own and deliver monthly client commercial packs and provide business performance and insight to enable data driven decisions.
- Partner with the Client Leads and the Commercial Lead as needed for client negotiations, contract governance, and contract reviews (e.g. pricing/rate cards/profitability)
- Partner with client / project leads teams on day-to-day client relationships matters such as, out of scope inquiry, net working capital, commercial delivery and contractual adherence.
- Works with the business leaders to understand short, medium, and long-term resource requirements and the corresponding impact on forecasts and budgets
Qualifications + Skills
- Background in commercial finance with experience business partnering within a fast-paced matrix environment.
- Experience of leading a budgeting and forecasting cycle within a large complex business.
- Excellent analytical skills with experience in relevant business performance metrics and driving insights.
- Strong and detailed financial modelling experience, with advanced Excel skills and PowerPoint skills with the ability to tell a story using PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present to senior executives, manage multiple stakeholders, assignments, & deadlines, prioritising effectively under pressure.
- Excited about enabling growth and proactive in doing so, a team player who influences & collaborates across multiple functions in a matrixed environment to achieve goals.
