About the role
The Commercial Finance Business Partner sits within our FP&A team and reports to the FP&A Manager, with a core focus on Revenue and Gross profit performance of the business.
As the Commercial Finance Business Partner, you will sit at the heart of our strategic planning and decision-making processes. Your role will involve providing valuable analysis and insights to drive sustainable top-line growth, margin improvement and development of new business streams.
Key responsibilities
  • Partner with divisional heads to provide financial analysis, insight and recommendations to support business on strategic and tactical decisions
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand key revenue drivers,
  • Budgeting and forecasting to support annual planning, forecasting and 3-year plan development
  • Preparation of monthly management reporting, variance analysis and commentary for senior management
  • Building and maintaining financial models to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis on business performance, trends and variances
  • Working with teams to identify and track KPIs, and develop action plans to improve results

What success looks like
  • Accurate management reporting delivered to agreed deadlines
  • Exceptional communication conveying complex financial information in a simple way
  • Analytically curious with a strong attention to detail

What we are looking for
  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
  • 1-3 years experience in a Commercial Finance/FP&A environment
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
  • Loves data and has excellent analytical, financial modelling and Excel/Google Sheets skills
  • Able to both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
