Commercial Finance Analyst - Leeds
Job Summary
We’re looking for a commercially minded Commercial Finance Analyst to join our team, partnering closely with our Product and Asset functions. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in driving sales performance, improving profitability, and ensuring effective inventory management through insightful analysis and reporting.

What will you be doing?
- Partnering with Product teams to provide analysis and insights that drive sales and margin improvement
- Supporting Asset management, including detailed inventory analysis and proactive identification of slow-moving and obsolete stock
- Producing and interpreting financial and operational reports to support business decision-making
- Managing and manipulating large datasets in Excel to identify trends and opportunities
- Building forecasting, trending and performance reporting, including quarterly business updates
- Developing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) with stakeholders
- Collaborating with Business Intelligence teams to enhance reporting tools and data accessibility
- Responding to internal data and reporting requests across the business
What about you?
- Degree-qualified (or equivalent experience) with progress towards or completion of CIMA, ACCA or ACA
- Strong Excel skills with experience handling large datasets (Power Query and SQL desirable)
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into business insight
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Able to work independently, using judgement and initiative to solve problems
- A collaborative team player with a proactive and curious approach
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
