Your Role: Commercial Finance Analyst

This Analyst role in the Cost & Capital team is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact at the heart of Global. With a company-wide lens, you’ll partner with senior stakeholders and support high-impact projects that drive value, efficiency, and growth. You’ll help build the financial tools, analysis, and insight that underpin our most important cost decisions – helping shape the business for years to come.

What You’ll Love About This Role

Think Big: Help build a deep understanding of cost performance and value drivers across the business.

Own It: Analyse cost structures and identify optimisation opportunities using high-quality data sets and models.

Keep it Simple: Support the budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes with clear, actionable insight.

Better Together: Partner with the business to deliver cost-saving initiatives, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic voice in the room.

What Success Looks Like

In your first few months, you’ll:

  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models and data sets to understand and track cost performance.
  • Support the delivery of forecasts, budgets, and reporting packs that are used by senior stakeholders to shape decisions.
  • Help drive cross-functional cost-saving initiatives that balance efficiency with operational effectiveness.
  • Build effective working relationships across Finance and the business, becoming a go-to person for insight on cost and capital.
  • Contribute to creating a cost-conscious culture by making performance transparent and action-oriented.

What You’ll Need

  • Analytical Mindset: Strong financial analysis and modelling skills, with the ability to work with complex data and drive insights.
  • Proactive & Curious: Someone who asks the right questions, challenges assumptions, and is excited by solving business problems.
  • Attention to Detail: Highly organised, comfortable working across multiple tasks with strong accuracy.
  • Tech-Savvy: Confident working with financial systems, Excel, and ideally some exposure to BI or visualisation tools.
  • Strong Communicator: Able to present insights clearly and engage effectively with finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Team Player: A collaborative, positive attitude with a desire to learn and grow.
  • Career Focused: Recently qualified (or equivalent experience), ideally from industry or a professional services background, with an interest in progressing within Commercial Finance.
