About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

Account Executive Specialist, Platform & Security (Enterprise, UK & Ireland)

Location: London, United Kingdom · Team: Platform & Security Specialist Sales, UK & Ireland

The opportunity

Every enterprise wants AI agents in production, and business teams now build apps and agents alongside developers. Every new agent and app widens who and what can reach sensitive data.

Our team sells both dimensions - We help customers build on the Salesforce Platform and protect, govern and recover the data it runs on.

You will join an established UK & Ireland team of Platform & Security specialists and help shape how we go to market.

What you will sell
  • Build: Sell Add-on low-code and no-code tools and modules which help developers and business users build, test, and extend on the Salesforce Platform
  • Ensure Data Security, Compliance, and Resilience: Sell Platform Security packages including Salesforce Shield, Security Center, Privacy Center, Backup & Recover and Archive.

Who you will sell to

Large UK & Ireland enterprises. Your buyers are CIOs, CISOs, CDOs and risk and compliance leaders. Enterprise architects and platform owners are often your strongest champions.

What you will do
  • Carry a dedicated Platform & Security quota,  team selling with the Core Account Executives (AEs) who own each account
  • Build a territory plan with your Core AE partners, then find, qualify and close new business
  • Lead the risk and resilience conversation with security leaders, and the value conversation with CIOs and business owners
  • Grow existing customers which already run on Salesforce, so the question is what else they need to build safely and stay compliant
  • Build business cases on risk, cost and time to value, and forecast accurately
  • Work with Solution Engineers, security specialists and SI partners to design and deliver the right solution

What success looks like in your first year
  • You know your accounts' security posture and agent plans in detail
  • Your Core AE partners bring you in early, because you help them win
  • You have closed new Platform & Security business and built next year's pipeline

What you will bring

Essential

  • A record of meeting or exceeding quota in complex enterprise sales
  • Experience selling to Enterprise IT, security or data leaders, positioned around business value and risk reduction
  • Enough technical depth to be credible with architects and security engineers
  • Disciplined qualification and forecasting (for example, MEDDPICC)
  • Success in an overlay or matrixed sales model

Valuable, but not required

  • Experience selling data security, backup and recovery, governance, DevOps or low-code platforms
  • Working knowledge of data protection, security and resilience regulation and standards, such as UK GDPR, the EU AI Act, NIS2, DORA, SOX and ISO 27001
  • Familiarity with the Salesforce ecosystem

If you meet most of the essentials but not every point, we would still like to hear from you.

Why join
  • Work alongside an experienced team of specialist peers
  • Salesforce enablement, mentoring, and career development
  • Competitive base salary and variable pay plus Salesforce benefits

Unleash Your Potential
