dentsu’s OOH team sits within Amplifi Global (the supply-side division of dentsu) and we our goal is to work alongside our agencies and network to increase consideration and spend in OOH across our agency family of 46,000 people. The OOH and location-based marketing sector is thriving, and the fast-growing digital OOH sector is seeing significant year on year growth. It is a vibrant and dynamic sector and an important component of advertisers’ media plans. We must ensure that we have market leading OOH products and solutions that contribute to clients’ integrated solutions, our partners’ ambitions and goals, and our own growth ambitions - we call this delivering ‘value for all’ and this philosophy pervades everything we do within the OOH Team and of Amplifi Global.

We’re hiring for a Client Director as part of Amplifi Global Team in London

Purpose of the Role

The purpose of this role is to lead the day-to-day client and agency relationships within your agency remit and all the elements of client management delivery. Including, implementation of the strategic vision for OOH for the clients, delivery against the financial targets set and building a trusted relationship with the clients and agencies.

You will build highly effective interpersonal relationships to become a key advisor for your clients and agency colleagues. You will be responsible for OOH strategy development, client/agency organic revenue growth and driving collaboration across dentsu and essential in building strong client relationships.

An ambassador for OOH, a key accountability of this role is to drive the agenda for OOH across dentsu, our wider client roster to help deliver growth to the OOH channel for dentsu. Working alongside the Head of Global OOH and the Client Innovation Lead, you will leverage new opportunities, technologies and services with our partners, to increase consideration and utilisation of the OOH medium and help our team and clients to deliver best-in-class OOH campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver superior OOH planning on both implementational and strategically led plan, driving insight, innovation, and accountability.
  • Deepen client and dentsu agency relationships to ensure greater consideration and engagement in OOH.
  • Understand clients’ commercial frameworks and work with Client Lead(s) to ensure business is run profitably and sustainably.
  • Improve client/agency partner satisfaction to drive increased consideration and spend for OOH.
  • Create the conditions for great work and champion great work: manage the team to ensure outstanding client service, but also to help the team grow and develop.
  •  Nurture and encourage a strong culture within the OOH team.

Qualifications + Skills

  • Agency management experience
  • Knowledge of and passion for OOH, ideally with experience of the planning and delivery of creative or bespoke projects.
  • Highly motivated and results driven.
  • Proven ability of building strong client relationships. Able to balance integrity, resilience, and diplomacy to convince and influence clients.
  • Working alongside Head of Global OOH and Client Innovation Lead to generate revenue for your agency and market-leading work for your clients through your ability to see situations from a commercial perspective.
  • A self-starter who works well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a proactive mindset Solutions orientated.

  • The team is based in our London office but operates under flexible working arrangements. The team are currently in the office every Tuesday and Thursday.
