The opportunity:

As a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner, you will join our Wholesale Claims team leading the development and implementation of Guidewire Claims Centre. You will use your deep understanding of the insurance industry, particularly within the London Market, to manage product development from conception to launch.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead the development and implementation of the Guidewire Claims Center product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and market needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Operations, and Strategy, to deliver high-quality claims solutions.
  • Gather and prioritise product requirements, working closely with stakeholders to define product vision and strategy.
  • Manage the product backlog, ensuring that development teams have clear and prioritised tasks.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to find opportunities for product improvement and innovation.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all product-related inquiries and issues.
  • Monitor product performance and user feedback, making data-driven decisions to enhance product functionality and user experience.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Our must-haves:

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in the insurance industry, with a focus on claims management.
  • Experience building and maintaining Guidewire Claims Center functionality.
  • Strong understanding of the London insurance market and its unique requirements.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and product management tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • High level of attention to detail, to ensure that all aspects of the product meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
