Job Description

An exciting Chief of Staff opportunity in Workforce & Experience Technology (WxT) awaits you within the Employee Platforms organization. As a trusted partner to the WxT CTO, you will sit at the center of the organization to drive portfolio governance and operational oversight, connect strategy to execution, measure outcomes, and lead key rhythms across organizational effectiveness, workforce strategy, financial management, and communications/change management in a complex technology environment.

Success in this role requires the ability to navigate ambiguity, influence senior stakeholders, synthesize complex information into clear recommendations, and drive alignment across diverse teams. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking, operational rigor, strong project management, and effective communication skills to accelerate organizational outcomes. The role and team partners closely with the WxT leadership, Product delivery team, Finance, HR, and Employee Platform’s enablement team to improve execution discipline, strengthen efficiency, drive portfolio governance, and translate strategy into coordinated outcomes across WxT.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead the Enablement / Chief of Staff function for Workforce & Experience Technology and Employee Platforms CTO, collaborating with business stakeholders, technical program managers, and finance and business management, and HR teams to oversee technology spend, monthly finance and business reviews, revised forecasts, and budget alignment, HR needs
  • Lead portfolio governance activities, including portfolio reporting, , and executive-level performance insights, in partnership with engineering leads and product owners, driving the book of work for engineering teams and ensuring the alignment OKRs.
  • Partner with the Portfolio Management and Governance leads on the HR/EX product side on annual budget planning and the monthly reviews to ensure financial discipline and strategic alignment
  • Establish and manage leadership operating rhythms that improve transparency, accountability, and decision-making
  • Create, improve, and maintain cadenced processes to ensure successful and consistent execution of deliverables to keep the ‘business of WxT’ running. Eliminate toil where opportunity arises.
  • Uses enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate processes and workflows, validating outputs and handling data according to sensitivity requirements
  • Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and reports for CIO that facilitates decision-making by providing relevant data, insights, and recommendations
  • Partner with leaders and relevant partners (e.g., Human Resources, Finance) on workforce planning, location strategy, organizational health, and talent priorities/reviews
  • Support change management efforts related to transformation, process enhancements, and organizational restructuring
  • Promotes reuse-first, AI-assisted practices for program governance and reporting, ensuring human review and alignment to delivery standards.
  • Lead discussions on topics relevant to the team and actively participate in cross-group initiatives to drive cohesion and shared outcomes

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 6+ years of experience in program/project/technology management, consulting, operations, or a combination of these
  • Demonstrated proficiency in resource management, organizational and operational change management, portfolio management, conflict resolution, negotiation, and budget and financial management including controls
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams that span an entire organization, influencing outcomes without direct authority
  • Experience taking complex and ambiguous information and refining it into meaningful content and clear action plans  
  • Advanced analytical reasoning skills, applying critical thinking and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, and operational objectives
  • Proven ability to lead through change, manage dependencies, and maintain control in high-pressure, shifting environments
  • Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, establishing productive relationships with team members and partners, and driving outcomes aligned with business and firm objectives
  • Proactive approach to problem solving, with the determination to take ownership of issues and follow them through to resolution
  • Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support program management workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
  • Ability to review and validate AI-assisted outputs before use, escalating when uncertain and following data handling expectations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including facilitation, presentation, and the ability to produce documentation appropriate for varied audiences

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Familiarity with enterprise portfolio management tools and governance frameworks
  • Experience supporting or operating within a Chief of Staff function at a large, matrixed organization
  • Strong data analysis and presentation skills with proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of technology delivery methodologies, including Agile and waterfall frameworks
