Job Description SummaryThe Finance Assistant supports the CFO and Finance team in delivering accurate financial tracking, reporting, and operational processes. This role will take ownership of key finance processes such as PO process management, cost tracking, and reporting, alongside supporting ongoing finance projects. The role also provides light administrative support to CFO including diary management, travel arrangements, and expense processing.

Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:

Finance Operations & Support:

  • Create and manage new PO process

  • Track spend, commitments and maintain cost trackers

  • Support month-end activities and invoice processing

  • Ensure compliance with financial controls and policies

Process Ownership:

  • Own key finance processes and deliver accurately and on time

  • Identify and drive process improvements

  • Act as point of contact for finance operational queries

Projects:

  • Support finance projects and reporting improvements

  • Prepare data and reports for stakeholders

Administrative Support to CFO:

  • Diary management and meeting coordination

  • Arrange travel and manage expenses

  • Provide general administrative support

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business preferred.

  • Experience in a finance or administrative support role desirable.

  • Familiarity with systems such as SAP, Oracle or Concur advantageous.

Skills & Attributes:
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Proactive with a sense of ownership.

  • Strong communication skills and a process-oriented mindset.

  • Fast learner and curious attitude.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

  • Digital savvy

Working Style

  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
