  • Maintain visibility of key strategic initiatives, removing blockers and ensuring momentum is maintained.
  • Build strong relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead and coordinate small projects on behalf of the CEO and wider Executive team where required.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Prepare high-quality board, committee and leadership materials, ensuring information is accurate, concise and impactful.
  • Draft executive-level communications, presentations, reports and briefings.
  • Support end-to-end board and governance processes, including agendas, papers, actions and deadlines.
  • Manage and prioritise requests directed to the CEO, ensuring focus remains on key strategic priorities.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships to facilitate collaboration and effective decision-making.
  • Line manage and develop the function's Executive Assistants, ensuring high standards of support for senior leaders and their teams.

Executive Operations & Logistics

  • Manage complex diaries, travel arrangements and logistical requirements, ensuring the CEO's time is optimised for maximum effectiveness.
  • Ensure meetings are purposeful, well prepared and focused on delivering clear outcomes.
  • Represent the CEO professionally across the business, acting as a credible extension of the executive office.
  • Coordinate complex communications and information flows between the Executive Board, Leadership Group and external stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement & Team Development

  • Partner with the Pub & Admin Support Manager to implement people, process and technology improvements across the wider administration community.
  • Champion efficient, collaborative and technology-enabled ways of working.
  • Support the development and adoption of best practice across Executive Assistants, Team Assistants and operational support teams.
  • Contribute to building a unified support function that operates in the best interests of Greene King and our pub teams.

  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing capability.
  • Proven ability to operate with discretion, integrity and professionalism when handling confidential information.
