Job Summary:

For our Global Procurement Function we are seeking a highly experienced and strategically minded Professional Service Category Manager with a strong background working in large multinational companies. The ideal candidate will have deep procurement expertise, strong analytical capabilities, exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to challenge and support business stakeholders. You will drive category strategy, optimise supplier performance, and ensure maximum value delivery across Professional Services while maintaining compliance and governance standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop procurement and negotiation strategies, leading negotiations to achieve agreed goals and objectives.
  • Create a full‑year category action plan, including all contract renewals, identifying synergies and assessing the strategic need for renewal.
  • Identify areas for improvement in current spend and define appropriate procurement solutions (RFxs, supplier consolidation, stronger negotiation positions, internal stakeholder alignment, etc.).
  • Ensure full policy compliance, process control and proper governance for all contracts and supplier engagements.
  • Safeguard value delivery and service quality (SLAs) from vendors while optimising cost.
  • Support and challenge business requirements to ensure alignment with category strategy, value optimisation and long‑term organisational goals.

Skillset and Experience Required

  • Extensive experience as a Category Manager within Procurement functions in large multinational organisations.
  • Strong commercial, strategic sourcing and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex Professional Services categories and supplier portfolios.
  • Proven experience conducting RFxs and leading supplier consolidation, cost‑optimisation and value‑creation initiatives.
  • Ability to influence, challenge and effectively partner with senior business stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of contract governance, compliance frameworks and supplier performance management.
  • Results‑driven, proactive and comfortable working in fast‑paced environments.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
