Job Description SummaryDevelop global sourcing and procurement strategies across Infrastructure Category which represent approximately $10M in spend at GE Healthcare. Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Define and execute sourcing or category management strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with IT and business teams.
  • Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to guide sourcing decisions.
  • Drive cost savings, risk mitigation, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Lead or support supplier transitions, audits, and performance evaluations.
  • Monitor and report on category performance metrics and implement improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, quality systems, and legal requirements.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to team members
  • Support global and regional sourcing initiatives and projects.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or category management.
  • Proven experience negotiating complex contracts and managing supplier performance.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • Experience working in a matrixed, global organization.
  • Experience in contract terms, redlining, and negotiation.

  • Strong leadership and influencing skills.
  • Lean/Six Sigma certification or experience with process improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure.
  • Proficiency in sourcing tools and systems.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed

We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $100,800.00-$151,200.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). GE HealthCare offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
