WisdomTree is seeking an Associate of Capital Markets, based in London.

The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing WisdomTree’s capital markets desk. On 28th April 2026, WisdomTree managed $62.4bn in assets under management in Europe and $158.3bn globally across a wide range of strategies and structures.

Key Accountabilities and Scope

    Team & Function
  • Acts as a core component of the capital markets team, helping grow the business via interacting with internal and external stakeholders in the 4 key functions of capital markets – client execution support, ETP ecosystem engagement, research & thought leadership, and relationship management.
  • Provide support and assistance on technical topics regarding ETP trading and mechanics both within the capital markets team, as well as distribution, research, and product teams.
  • Relationship Management with the ETF Sell-Side

  • Act as a key liaison and point of contact to ETF sell-side with significant sell side relationships covering sales, trading and back offices at banks and market makers.
  • Client Engagement & Thought Leadership

  • Engages with buy-side through sales to meet with key clients or prospects and discuss trading WisdomTree ETPs and/or the mechanics of the underlying markets. Educates clients on trading best practices including how to achieve best execution.
  • Develops tools for and oversees preparation of analytics for clients on trading costs for different products.
  • Collaborates with Sales and Marketing to develop product and market related content for client education and consumption. 
  • Develops and maintains a broad knowledge and awareness of trading industry developments, competitors, and exchange rules that impact the trading community.
  • Speaks at industry conferences, regulatory forums, and professional bodies as required and contributes to thought leadership.
  • Promoting Platform Liquidity and Health and Advocacy

  • Works together with external partners as well as WisdomTree’s Product Development and Operations teams to drive change and improve the liquidity of the ETP lineup and optimise WisdomTree’s primary market setup.
  • Demonstrates initiative, creativity and expertise in independently identifying opportunities and solutions for areas of improvement within the ETP operational process and the business more broadly
  • Expands and streamlines liquidity provision for the product range, educating liquidity providers and buy-side block desks on WisdomTree’s product structures, ways to price, trade and settle ETPs
  • Develop tools to monitor the liquidity of the products, identify issues early on and tackle them effectively
  • Analyzes and has awareness of ETP industry trends in the context of, economic, political, regulatory and capital markets developments in order to contribute to WisdomTree’s strategy and support decision-making

Skills and Qualifications

  • One to three years financial industry experience, ETP industry experience and/or equity/program/derivatives trading experience a plus.
  • Undergraduate degree.  MBA or CFA degree preferred.
  • Solid organisational skills and ability to work across multiple functions.
  • Background in an ETP firm, a bank’s trading and/or structuring desk or a market making firm preferred.
  • An understanding of trading mechanics and financial instruments that are used to obtain market exposure across asset classes: cash instruments, futures, swaps, and options and ETN/ETP structuring with respect to those.
  • This position may require up to 10% of time travelling.
