G MASS Consulting is supporting a global broker undertaking a major front-to-back transformation of its trading and post-trade infrastructure. The programme centres on the implementation and consolidation of the Calypso platform, replacing legacy systems and establishing a single strategic platform across multiple asset classes.

We are seeking an experienced Programme Director / Transformation Lead to take ownership of the delivery of this transformation. This individual will provide end-to-end programme leadership, coordinating technology delivery, operational change and vendor engagement across global teams.

The role requires a senior transformation leader who has delivered large-scale Calypso implementations or migrations within complex trading environments, ideally spanning multiple asset classes and global operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall programme leadership for the Calypso implementation and platform consolidation initiative
  • Establish delivery governance, programme structure and milestone tracking across workstreams
  • Manage programme dependencies across technology, operations and product teams
  • Coordinate with the Calypso vendor and implementation partners to ensure delivery milestones are achieved
  • Lead cross-asset migration planning across FX, commodities, rates, and equity derivatives workflows
  • Oversee operational change and ensure alignment between platform delivery and business processes
  • Identify and mitigate programme risks, controlling delivery slippage and complex dependencies
  • Engage senior stakeholders across global teams in EMEA, the US, and the Middle East
  • Drive collaboration across internal technology teams, operations functions, and external vendors

Requirements
  • Extensive experience delivering Calypso platform implementations, migrations or major transformations
  • Proven programme leadership across large-scale trading platform or capital markets technology initiatives
  • Strong understanding of cross-asset trading environments (FX, commodities, rates and derivatives)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex transformation programmes involving multiple stakeholders and vendors
  • Experience establishing governance frameworks and driving delivery across global teams
  • Strong vendor management capability, particularly when coordinating with platform providers and system integrators
  • Background within a Tier-1 investment bank, commodities trading firm, or global brokerage

Benefits

6-month rolling contract.

Salary / rate to be discussed.
