Senior Solutions Specialist – Core/FI
UK & MEA Institutional Buyside Middle Office
FactSet is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Solutions Specialist to join the UK & MEA Institutional Buyside Middle Office team. In this role, you will work directly with institutional investors—asset managers, asset owners, insurers, and hedge funds—helping clients streamline their workflows and gain actionable insights using FactSet’s suite of Analytics solutions. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while collaborating within a dynamic, client-focused environment.
What you'll do:
- Diagnose sophisticated technical challenges for clients, identifying root causes and collaborating with Specialty Support and Product teams to deliver effective solutions.
- Build trusted relationships with senior specialty clients by developing a deep understanding of their technical environments and business goals.
- Work cross-functionally with sales, support, engineering, and product management to quickly resolve technical challenges and provide clear, consistent communication.
- Become a subject matter expert for FactSet’s Middle Office Analytics offerings, providing tailored recommendations aligned with client requirements and market trends.
- Gain familiarity with each client’s business structure, architecture, and operations in order to set clear expectations, build credibility, and act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders.
- Proactively identify opportunities for expansion within your client portfolio, designing actionable plans to drive additional Annual Subscription Value (ASV) and support business growth.
- Lead strategic specialty product initiatives, overseeing delivery and execution to ensure measurable impact for clients.
What we are looking for:
- At least 8 years of senior experience in technical account management, customer success, or related technical roles, or direct experience in the Asset and Wealth Management industry.
- Strong understanding of investment management workflows, applications, portfolio analytics, and the challenges faced by institutional investors.
- In-depth knowledge of performance, attribution, risk, or reporting systems, and familiarity with modern investment theories and financial calculations.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new concepts, adapt to industry trends, and proactively drive solutions forward.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences; experience delivering presentations to senior stakeholders.
- Proven relationship-building skills, with a track record of partnering effectively with senior client stakeholders and maintaining sustained satisfaction.
- Awareness of market movements, industry trends, and competitor offerings to strategically position FactSet solutions.
- Enjoys working within cross-functional teams, leveraging diverse expertise to deliver value for clients.
- Strong project and time management skills; able to manage multiple accounts and initiatives simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
