Are you a highly organised administrator who enjoys keeping things running smoothly while making a real difference to your community? We are looking for a proactive and adaptable Administrator to join our team, providing vital support across a range of council services.

In this varied role, you’ll be at the heart of day-to-day operations, delivering comprehensive administrative support, managing team diaries, coordinating meetings and ensuring colleagues’ time is used effectively. You will act as a first point of contact for members of the public, confidently handling queries, resolving issues where possible and directing more complex matters to the appropriate officer. You’ll also produce accurate minutes and notes for key meetings, support project work, maintain records, prepare reports and communications, update websites, and help ensure data remains accurate and up to date.

Working closely with colleagues, elected members and external stakeholders, you will need strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and the confidence to make decisions and solve problems within established procedures. Full training will be provided to help you succeed.

As part of the Council’s flexible and agile workforce, you may have opportunities to support different teams across the organisation, broadening your experience and developing your skills. Due to the nature of the role, a DBS check will be required.

If you’re passionate about delivering excellent customer service, thrive in a busy environment and want a role where your contribution truly matters, we look forward to hearing from you. Apply today and help us deliver services that make a positive impact on local people every day.
