Program Manager

TR Labs – Foundational Research

Location: London, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Program Manager to support the TR Labs Foundational Research team by handling administrative and operational tasks. This role is essential to ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, assisting leadership, and streamlining processes to enhance efficiency. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role
In this opportunity as Program Manager, you will:

  • Work directly with the Head of AI Research to manage and organize a team of Research Scientists working to develop and test the latest in Legal large language models (LLMs)
  • Assist with identifying, hiring and onboarding new Research Scientists to join the team
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks to ensure program success, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Act as a communication liaison, ensuring all team members are aware of program scope, milestones, and progress.

About You
You’re a fit for the role of Program Manager if your background includes:

  • At least 5 years experience as an Operations Manager/Coordinator, Project Manager, Administrative Assistant, or similar role.
  • Previous experience working within a LLM Training or Data Science - oriented team is a major plus
  • Previous experience working in the Legal Technology industry is a plus
  • Strong experience in creating job requirements, reviewing applicants, coordinating/conducting interviews, onboarding candidates, managing team members, and conducting performance reviews is a major plus.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • An action-oriented self-starter, adept at solving problems and eliminating roadblocks.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized – driven to provide high-quality work that meets and exceeds organizational standards.
  • A background and passion for working with and learning new technology
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills - Strong communicator who can speak and write clearly and effectively with all stakeholders/contacts
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365– Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Azure DevOps and more.
  • Experience using Workday and SAP FieldGlass is a major plus
  • Job will require you to maintain a calendar via scheduling, vetting and prioritization of various items. Handle and respond to informational inquiries and redirect them to the appropriate team member for resolution.
