Turn data into insights that drive business decisions.

At BioPhorum, we bring together the world's leading pharmaceutical, biotech and MedTech organisations to collaborate, solve complex challenges and accelerate innovation that improves patient outcomes.

As our organisation continues to grow, data is playing an increasingly important role in how we make decisions, measure performance and identify new opportunities. We're looking for a talented Business Intelligence Analyst to help transform data into meaningful insights that support every part of our business.

If you're passionate about analytics, enjoy solving problems and want your work to have a genuine impact, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

Reporting to the IT Operations Director, you'll play a key role in developing and delivering business intelligence across BioPhorum.

Working with stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Client Services and Operations, you'll build dashboards, analyse complex datasets and provide insights that support strategic planning, operational performance and business growth.

This is an opportunity to work with modern Microsoft technologies, contribute to a growing data function and influence how data is used across the organisation.

What You'll Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building, developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports
  • Analysing complex business data to identify trends, opportunities and risks
  • Developing robust data models using SQL, DAX and Power Query
  • Supporting business forecasting, KPI reporting and performance measurement
  • Working with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver practical solutions
  • Improving data quality and helping maintain trusted reporting across the organisation
  • Automating reporting processes to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency
  • Presenting data and insights in a clear, engaging way for both technical and non-technical audiences

About You

You'll be naturally curious, analytical and enjoy using data to solve business problems.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Strong experience developing reports and dashboards in Power BI
  • Excellent SQL skills for querying, transforming and analysing data
  • Experience with DAX, Power Query and data modelling
  • Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes and reporting best practice
  • The ability to communicate complex information clearly and influence decision-making
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience working with multiple data sources and supporting self-service reporting
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, the Power Platform or Dynamics 365 would be an advantage, but isn't essential.

Why Join BioPhorum?

At BioPhorum, data isn't just about reporting—it's central to how we improve our business and deliver value for our members.

We offer:

  • A fully remote UK-based role with flexibility and work-life balance
  • The opportunity to work with modern Microsoft data technologies
  • Interesting, business-critical projects with real organisational impact
  • A collaborative, supportive and high-performing team
  • Opportunities for professional development and continuous learning
  • The chance to influence how data is used across a growing international organisation
