How you will create an impact
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an experienced team and get involved in some really interesting work and develop your technical skills.
Primary responsibilities will include:
Engage with existing and prospective users to understand and document their information needs, predicated on an understanding of both business processes and the business decisions that users need to make
Provide Analyst support to new and on-going BI projects to enable them to meet their deadlines
Work with IT colleagues to understand and document available data sources and their interrelation
Collaborate with other team members to design solutions
Collaborate with other team members to develop strong reconciliation and control processes
Work with quality assurance to ensure that business requirements are met
What you’ll need to succeed
Experience of fulfilling a BI Analyst role in the full life-cycle of a DW/BI project
Demonstrable understanding of the collateral factors that lead to success in DW/BI projects, including user engagement, prototyping, MDM, data quality and educational approach
Experience using Power BI with an understanding of visualisation and reporting
Excellent problem solving skills
Excellent collaboration skills to manage problem resolutions effectively
Can effectively communicate business and technical information across the organisation, being sensitive to the needs of different audiences
Able to drive a structured and systematic path to resolution
Able to work independently at the same time as professionally representing the team
