About the Role:

As Fieldguide’s first Business Development Representative in EMEA, you’ll play a key role in our international expansion and help shape how we serve audit, assurance, and advisory firms across the region.

You’ll focus on building pipeline, engaging prospective customers, and partnering closely with Account Executives to create meaningful opportunities. If you’re driven to build a long-term career in sales, this role is a step in the right direction. We are looking for thoughtful, research-driven representatives who understand that great sales is about preparation, curiosity, and trust with your Account Executive. Success here comes from understanding your prospects deeply, tailoring your approach, and building genuine relationships.

This role reports to the Senior Manager, Business Development and is located remotely in the United Kingdom.

What You'll Do:

  • Drive new business and shape our growth - You’ll build and manage a strong sales pipeline through self-sourced outreach and close collaboration with Account Executives. Making introductions, scheduling demos, and leading thoughtful, customer-first outreach campaigns that drive Fieldguide’s growth.

  • Earn trust and spark interest - Engage new and existing leads through creative, personalized outreach that builds credibility and excitement for Fieldguide. You’ll educate prospects using real business cases, clearly demonstrating our value, ROI, and impact through authentic conversations over phone or Zoom.

  • Become a Fieldguide expert - Develop deep expertise in the Fieldguide platform, staying current on our product roadmap, industry trends, and competitive landscape to understand the forces driving technology and automation in our space.

  • Continuously improve and innovate - Learn the nuances of different service lines and buyer personas while helping refine our sales playbook to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Coordinate effortless handoffs - Partner closely with Account Executives to ensure every demo call transition is smooth and sets the stage for success. Your work will be instrumental in fueling the entire company pipeline and supporting the SDR team’s mission.

About You:

  • 1+ years of BDR, SDR, Account Management, or Account Executive experience - including prospect research, multi-threading accounts, qualifying leads, and partnering with Account Executives to generate new business.

  • You’re intrinsically motivated to exceed goals, with proven ability to meet or exceed activity and pipeline targets in a quota-driven environment.

  • You embody grit, curiosity, and emotional intelligence. You’re coachable, eager to learn, and resilient in the face of challenges. You know how to read a room, ask the right questions, and guide meaningful conversations that lead to real solutions.

  • You’re highly organized, detail-oriented, and an exceptional communicator who can simplify complex ideas with confidence. You excel in fast-paced, customer-facing environments and are comfortable using productivity tools and spreadsheets to stay sharp and efficient.

  • Comfortable with cold calling, objection handling, and navigating challenging conversations.

Bonus Points:

  • Accounting industry knowledge, including but not limited to assurance and advisory services, ideally with exposure to cybersecurity or regulatory standards..
