About the Role:

The Business Development Function generates and qualifies sales opportunities through outbound and inbound prospecting. This individual will book meetings, nurture leads, provide product demos and partner with Account Executives to build early-stage pipeline.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone new to the world of Digital Advertising, specifically Retail Media and eCommerce, and would suit a driven, highly motivated self-starter who is hungry to succeed, achieve and WIN!

Training and support will be provided and there is ample opportunity to learn and grow, as well as have considerable positive impact on both the Pacvue EMEA business and its rapid evolution.

Responsibilities:

  • Own systematic outbound prospecting across the German market, activating and qualifying target accounts, prioritised by tier
  • Follow up on all inbound, campaign and event-sourced leads within defined SLAs, ensuring no qualified demand goes un-worked
  • Run first-call discovery (15–30 minutes) to qualify need, fit and timing, handing AEs accepted opportunities rather than raw meetings
  • Generate a consistent flow of qualified pipeline to target
  • Build and execute multi-touch outreach sequences (email, phone, LinkedIn) tailored to German-market buyers and stakeholder roles (Head of eCommerce, Retail Media Manager, VP Marketing, agencies)
  • Maintain clean, accurate records of activity, opportunities and handoffs in Salesforce, and manage the AE handoff process end to end
  • Capture objections, competitive intelligence and response data from the German market to sharpen targeting, messaging and positioning
  • Hit and report against core performance measures: market coverage, lead quality, accepted pipeline, and speed-to-follow-up
  • Partner closely with Marketing and AEs on account targeting, campaign follow-up and feedback loops to continuously improve conversion

 Skills & Qualifications:

  • No prior sales experience required (entry-level)
  • Familiarity with software sales concepts or technology market trends
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to learn CRM systems and sales tools; any experience with databases or data management a plus
  • Ability to work independently on defined assignments
  • Relevant studies pertaining to Sales & Marketing a huge benefit.
