As a Senior Business Development Executive, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of our business.  You will be responsible for executing a business development strategy, working closely with product and technology teams to deliver innovative partnership solutions.  You’ll be at the forefront of our mission to expand our subscriber base through strategic collaborations with major consumer brands and organisations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Teamwork & Collaboration: As a member of the Global and Partnerships Team, you’ll build business development opportunities pipeline
  • Partnership Generation & Management:  We need a master partner hunter and nurturer.  You’ll identify, negotiate, paper, and close high-value partnership opportunities across many sectors, including telco, ISP, financial services, consumer software, subscription apps, social platforms, OEM hardware, and retail.
  • Revenue Growth: We need someone comfortable helping partners with their business problems to drive substantial revenue growth through various partnerships, including trials, bundling, white-labelled product solutions, brand associations, events, and more.
  • Commercial Modelling: You’ll need a strong commercial mindset to work with FP&A to develop and manage commercial models, revenue-sharing agreements, CPAs, and other financial arrangements to optimise partnership outcomes.
  • Marketing Integration: You’ll operate with transparency, breaking down silos to collaborate with marketing teams to understand the marketing funnel, conversion metrics, and consumer marketing channels to negotiate partner terms that drive trials and sales.
  • Sales and Partnerships Acumen: Leverage your strong sales and partnerships background to identify and secure partnerships that drive subscriber acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Product Collaboration: Working closely with our martech, product and technology team, you will innovate, develop solutions, and scope new offerings to drive additional partner opportunities.
  • Reporting and Analysis:  You love data! And you understand how to harness to win.  You can provide regular updates and reports to senior management on partnership performance, including key metrics and ROI.


Role Requirements:

  • Experience: You’ve done this job successfully for other like-minded organisations. You have at least 4-5 years of partnerships experience driving acquisition and revenue through partnerships and a background in a top-tier consumer subscription or technology company.
  • Sales and Marketing: Strong sales and marketing background, with experience in commercial modelling, revenue sharing, CPAs, app platforms, and/or media.
  • Strategic Thinking: You can develop and execute complex business development strategies that drive results.
  • Interpersonal communication skills: You’re comfortable with any audience and group. Your excellent communication and negotiation skills are apparent (written and spoken), and you can present and persuade confidently at all levels.  
  • Collaboration: Comfortable working with cross-functional teams, including product and technology, to deliver partnership solutions.
  • Analytical Skills: You have a strong understanding of marketing funnels, conversion metrics, and consumer marketing channels to optimise partnership terms.
  • Sector Experience: Diversification is the name of the game.  You have experience leading partnerships with sectors such as telco/ISP, financial services, consumer software, subscription apps, social platforms, OEM hardware, and retail.
  • Direct Sales: Comfortable with direct software and services sales via wholesale B2B selling.
  • Market Focus: You’ve led deals and have extensive experience working across various markets outside the UK.
  • Nice to have: Fluency in Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, German, or French
  • Bachelor's degree required
