Reports to: Sales Director – Hyperstack (powered by NexGen Cloud)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) with a strong background in solution selling within cloud infrastructure, AI computing or high-performance computing environments.

This role is designed for a true hunter — someone who thrives on opening new accounts, engaging technical decision-makers and building pipeline through strategic outbound activity.

You will work closely with SDRs to convert qualified leads into validated opportunities, while also generating your own pipeline across GenAI scale-ups, AI service providers and enterprise organisations adopting advanced AI infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Pipeline Development
Convert qualified SDR leads into validated sales opportunities and manage them through the early sales cycle.

New Business Acquisition
Identify, research and engage high-growth GenAI companies, AI service providers and enterprise AI teams with GPU infrastructure needs.

Strategic Outreach
Execute targeted outbound campaigns engaging multiple stakeholders including CTOs, Heads of AI, Infrastructure Leads and procurement teams.

Account Development
Self-generate pipeline through account-based outreach, networking and ecosystem intelligence across the AI and cloud landscape.

Technical Discovery
Lead discovery conversations to understand customer requirements relating to AI workloads, GPU compute and cloud infrastructure.

Cross-Team Collaboration
Work closely with sales, marketing and technical teams to refine messaging, positioning and go-to-market strategies.

CRM & Forecasting
Maintain accurate CRM records and account insights to support forecasting, territory planning and pipeline visibility.

Required Skills

Technical / Commercial Experience

  • Minimum 5 years experience in business development or solution sales
  • Background in cloud infrastructure, IaaS, AI computing, or HPC environments
  • Proven experience selling to technical audiences including AI engineers, data scientists and DevOps teams
  • Strong understanding of the AI ecosystem and GPU cloud landscape
  • Experience managing complex B2B sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
  • Familiarity with CRM and sales engagement platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce or Apollo

Soft Skills

  • Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills
  • Clear and confident communication with both technical and commercial stakeholders
  • Self-starter mentality with strong ownership and accountability
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and develop new market opportunities

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with Neo cloud providers, GPU-as-a-Service platforms or HPC infrastructure vendors
  • Exposure to industries with high GPU compute demand such as:
    • Media, Telecoms & Entertainment
    • Healthcare & Life Sciences
    • Automotive
    • Financial Services
    • Manufacturing
  • Understanding of AI workloads, model training environments and infrastructure requirements
