Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Business Development Manager to lead strategic growth initiatives, identify high-impact partnership opportunities, and drive revenue expansion across new and existing markets. This is a critical role that combines strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and deep fintech knowledge to fuel our next phase of growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end business development process from lead generation through to deal closure and onboarding.
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, strategic partners, and product distribution channels.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders at banks, fintechs, PSPs, and enterprise clients.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, legal, and compliance teams to structure and negotiate complex commercial agreements.
- Develop go-to-market strategies for new products or regions and contribute to pricing, positioning, and partner enablement plans.
- Stay informed of fintech trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments to proactively shape our commercial strategy.
- Represent humm at industry events, conferences, and panels.
What we are looking for
- 6+ years of business development, partnerships, or commercial experience, ideally within the fintech, payments, banking, or financial infrastructure sectors.
- Proven track record of securing and scaling high-value commercial partnerships.
- Strong understanding of financial technology products and market dynamics.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills at C-level and across cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and strategic thinking abilities.
- Experience working with legal and compliance teams on regulated product offerings is a strong plus.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
- Experience in B2B fintech (e.g., APIs, embedded finance, digital banking, lending platforms).
- Global market exposure or experience working in multiple regions (e.g., North America, EMEA, APAC).
- Strong network within the fintech and financial services ecosystem.
