We are seeking an exceptional Business Development Manager who has sold professional / tech services to drive our strategic growth in AWS cloud solutions within non-aviation sectors. This is an opportunity to lead complex digital transformation initiatives for some of Europe's most prestigious organisations. You will be the key point of contact for clients, helping them navigate our solutions and improve their digital transformation journey. 

Key responsibilities & duties include:

Lead Generation & Sales Pipeline Development:

  • Proactively identify and generate new leads through research, industry events, and networking. 
  • Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to create tailored campaigns aimed at attracting potential AWS clients.
  • Drive business growth by securing meetings with decision-makers at customers and progressing opportunities through the sales pipeline.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, acting as their trusted advisor for Digital, Cloud, and Data solutions.
  • Engage regularly with airline stakeholders to understand their business needs, provide product demonstrations, and position our solutions as their preferred choice.
  • Address client queries, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales engagement strategies to drive the growth of our Digital, Cloud, and Data Transformation services. 
  • Lead the proposal and negotiation process, working closely with internal teams (e.g. Pre-Sales, Solutions, Legal) to craft compelling, tailored solutions for clients.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape, industry trends, and client needs to refine sales strategies and capitalise on emerging opportunities.

Revenue Growth & Reporting:

  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets by expanding our presence with AWS business.
  • Prepare accurate forecasts, sales reports, and performance analyses for senior management to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure proper invoicing and resolve any billing issues as required.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in business development selling technology professional services or Cloud e.g Azure, AWS or GCP Products or Services.
  • Demonstrable success in business development including New Logos and managing client relationships in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of Data, Digital, Software or Cloud solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders at various levels of an organisation.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently whilst collaborating effectively with internal teams
  • Ability to travel across Europe for client meetings and industry events as required.
