Mastercard Program Management Services (MPMS) provides business partners globally with fully outsourced prepaid card programme management solutions. Leveraging the Mastercard network, MPMS delivers consumer and corporate travel, foreign currency, per diem and gift prepaid card programmes to a diverse set of partners including financial institutions, travel agents, retailers, bureau de change operators and airlines.
Role and Responsibilities
• Identify, qualify and secure new business opportunities to achieve revenue and growth targets. • Take ownership of an assigned business development pipeline and customer portfolio, driving opportunity progression, revenue generation and long-term customer growth. • Build and manage a robust pipeline with accurate forecasting, opportunity tracking and CRM (Salesforce) management. • Lead end-to-end sales pursuits, from prospecting and discovery through to proposal development, negotiation and contract execution. • Develop and execute market and account growth strategies across priority clients, sectors and geographies. • Build and maintain senior client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on MPMS solutions and capabilities. • Collaborate with Product, Delivery and Account Management teams to develop compelling client propositions and commercial outcomes. • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and client needs to identify new growth opportunities. • Contribute to the execution of the MPMS commercial strategy, supporting business growth and market expansion initiatives. • Lead, coach and develop team members, fostering a high-performance culture focused on sales excellence, customer value and continuous improvement.
Experience
• Proven track record in business development, sales or account growth, consistently delivering against revenue and new business targets. • Experience managing complex sales cycles, including prospecting, solution development, commercial negotiations and contract closure. • Experience in payments, financial services, fintech, travel or related industries.• Strong ability to build and influence senior stakeholder relationships across clients, partners and internal teams. • Confident and adept networker and presenter, with an established professional network across the UK and/or European payments, financial services or fintech sectors.• Experience working collaboratively across cross-functional and matrixed environments to develop and deliver client solutions. • Self-motivated, commercially driven and proactive, with the ability to operate independently, take ownership of outcomes and build a long-term career within Mastercard.
