Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, capable, and driven Sales Specialist to join CDW's Cisco Business Unit, responsible for supporting the development and execution of Cisco's strategic direction across one of the UK's largest IT services providers. This role focuses on driving Cisco sales across CDW's customer base, with a strong emphasis on Public Sector and regulated environments, by maximising revenue growth, building strong internal and external partnerships, and aligning CDW and Cisco's commercial objectives. Operating in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment, the role offers an engaging and varied opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a growing business. This role requires Cisco and Public Sector experience.

What You Will Do
  • Manage and maintain a strong, accurate sales pipeline
  • Nurture and grow existing Public Sector and commercial customer relationships
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert for the CDW- Cisco partnership, including strong knowledge of Cisco technologies across CDW
  • Proactively grow existing opportunities by attaching additional architectures and identifying new Public Sector and commercial business
  • Work closely with CDW sales teams and Cisco sales teams to drive joint success
  • Create and own a business plan for your assigned sales segment, including Public Sector priorities
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations to customers, sales teams, and Cisco, promoting the value of joint solutions with a vertical focus
  • Own the execution of your segment business plan against defined milestones and metrics
  • Understand, promote, and leverage Cisco programs and promotions to maximise sales opportunities
  • Continuously identify and close knowledge gaps to improve performance and credibility
What We Expect of You
  • Proven track record in sales or business development, including experience within the Public Sector or regulated environments
  • Ability to lead senior-level engagements, including QBRs and business alignment discussions
  • Deep market knowledge and understanding of trends impacting Public Sector and commercial customer strategy
  • Experience defining and driving strategic business and marketing campaigns aligned to focus areas
  • Strong ability to communicate, present, and build relationships at all levels
  • Good understanding of Cisco technologies and the business challenges they address
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to link technology outcomes to business results
  • A hunter mentality with a proactive, results-driven approach
  • Strong problem-solving and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, empathy, and adaptability
  • Collaborative, pragmatic, and motivated to drive positive change in a customer-centric environment
