Job description

The Customer Education Business Development Manager (CEBDM) will work with customers, partners and Account Team(s) to develop and deliver comprehensive, customized education solutions that enable successful implementation, adoption, and usage of Hitachi Vantara solutions.
This includes understanding the customer’s business objectives and critical business issues and creating comprehensive training readiness solutions to support the customer’s proprietary business processes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and grow Education Services revenue aligned to AOP targets
  • Serve as primary regional contact for Customers, Partners, and Sales
  • Develop, position, and sell tailored education solutions and value propositions
  • Scope, price, negotiate, and close education services deals
  • Drive customer adoption, expansion, and renewals through strategic learning paths
  • Partner with Sales and Services teams on campaigns and account strategy
  • Ensure high‑quality, on‑time, on‑budget delivery of training programs
  • Manage forecasting, regional metrics, and P&L performance
  • Identify field needs and contribute to improving education offerings

Success Measures:

  • Revenue, margin, and consumption targets
  • Forecast accuracy
  • Customer satisfaction
  • Delivery quality and timeliness

Profile:

  • 2+ years in education services, professional services, pre‑sales, or IT consulting
  • Proven education services revenue attainment
  • Strong presentation, influence, and stakeholder management skills
  • Able to operate in cross‑matrix, fast‑paced, and unstructured environments
  • Knowledge of Hitachi Vantara and related technologies
  • Fluent in English; other European languages are a plus
