Role Summary
We're looking for a Business Development Manager to help grow our Capital Markets and Standby Servicing business. Building on Lenvi's established position in the UK standby servicing market, you'll play a key role in expanding our presence across financial services, developing new business opportunities and strengthening existing client relationships.
This role combines strategic business development with relationship management, giving you the opportunity to influence revenue growth, increase market penetration and support the continued success of an established and growing proposition.
What You'll Be Doing
- Driving growth of our Standby Servicing proposition across mortgage lenders, mortgage servicers and specialist financial services organisations.
- Managing and developing relationships with existing clients and funding partners.
- Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of new business opportunities.
- Delivering against annual and monthly sales targets.
- Leading tenders, proposals and new business opportunities through the full sales lifecycle.
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience from initial engagement through to implementation.
- Identifying opportunities to expand services within existing accounts.
- Representing Lenvi at industry events and networking opportunities.
- Maintaining accurate sales activity and pipeline information within Salesforce.
- Supporting contract negotiations and commercial discussions.
- Collaborating with colleagues to identify cross-selling opportunities across the wider Lenvi portfolio.
What We'd Like to See From Your Application
- Proven business development or sales experience within Financial Services, Capital Markets or a related sector.
- A strong track record of generating new business and delivering revenue growth.
- Excellent relationship-building, communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience managing multiple opportunities across different stages of the sales cycle.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently.
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills.
- An established network within banks, lenders, investment funds or other financial institutions would be highly advantageous.
- Degree qualified or equivalent financial services experience.
- Knowledge of Capital Markets and Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) would be beneficial.
- Exposure to credit ratings agencies such as Moody's, S&P or Fitch would be advantageous.
- Experience working with European financial institutions and/or proficiency in an additional European language would also be a bonus.
