Reporting to the Regional Sales Director EMEA, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing and deploying sales resources across the region.

What You'll Do

Working alongside a wide network of internal and external stakeholders, you’ll identify key business opportunities across the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning stages to final implementation. Your focus will be on cultivating relationships with influential decision-makers, including end users, consultants, specifiers, and regulatory bodies. You’ll develop and execute a strategic business development plan, ensuring alignment between resources and growth objectives.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Set and implement strategies to increase demand for Johnson Controls Fire Suppression Products.

  • Build strong, long-term partnerships with senior-level influencers, decision-makers, and budget holders.

  • Research emerging trends, identify growth opportunities, and position the company at the forefront of the market.

  • Seek synergy across business segments, driving collaboration and operational efficiency.

  • Strengthen brand presence and marketplace awareness through strategic outreach and engagement.

  • Collaborate with Sales teams to maximize opportunity conversion and ensure alignment on key projects.

  • Lead and mentor Business Development teams, fostering a culture of innovation and results-driven success.

  • Evaluate mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships to identify avenues for business expansion.

What You'll Bring

  • A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

  • Minimum 10 years of sales or business development experience, ideally within fire protection systems.

  • A proven ability to secure product specifications from end users, consultants, and installers.

  • Exceptional leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to quickly build trust and credibility at senior levels.

  • Experience in strategic planning, marketing, and market research.

  • Expertise in developing partnerships and presenting business concepts to key stakeholders.

  • A results-driven, proactive mindset with the ability to continuously refine strategies.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Experience with Salesforce.com and SAP is desirable.

  • Willingness to travel significantly across the EMEA region.
