We're looking for a highly experienced and passionate Regional Manufacturing Excellence Manager to join our European Supply Chain Excellence team. In this pivotal role, you'll drive significant performance improvements and foster a culture of continuous improvement across a group of our manufacturing plants in Europe.
This is an opportunity to directly shape our operational future, applying your expertise in industrial excellence to elevate capabilities, optimize processes, and build strong, high-performing teams.
How You Will Contribute:
As our Regional Manufacturing Excellence Manager, you will be instrumental in:
  • Driving Continuous Improvement: Lead the end-to-end implementation of the Mondelēz Manufacturing Excellence (IL6S) program, cultivating a continuous improvement mindset from operators to senior management.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and ensure coherent site master plans that are fully aligned with business objectives.
  • Hands-on Problem Solving: Lead real-world problem-solving sessions to tackle critical breakdowns, equipment issues, and process losses. You'll develop and embed robust standards and work processes to prevent failures from recurring.
  • Capability Building: Coach and develop plant teams in critical operational excellence systems and tools, including:
    • Centerlining
    • CIL (Clean, Inspect, Lubricate)
    • Defects Handling
    • TBM/CBM (Time-Based Maintenance/Condition-Based Maintenance)
    • Problem Solving methodologies
    • SMED (Single-Minute Exchange of Die)
    • Enhance Line Centric Organization skills and daily routines (RTT/RTS).
  • Cost Optimization: Support sites in maintaining robust cost governance, budget management, and identifying impactful cost improvement projects.
  • Championing Best Practices: Drive change by conducting on-site workshops and encouraging the replication of successful initiatives across the region.
  • Regional & Global Collaboration: Operate in an international environment, collaborating effectively with global centers of excellence, plant management teams, and key group decision-makers.

What You'll Bring:
We are looking for an ambitious and inspiring leader with a proven track record in manufacturing excellence and a desire to make a significant impact.
  • Proven Leadership Experience:
    • 15+ years of extensive experience in manufacturing (covering production, asset reliability, process engineering, and capability building), preferably within the food industry.
    • Significant leadership experience in operations (e.g., Production Manager or equivalent) is essential.
  • Operational Excellence Expertise:
    • Deep expertise in TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) or similar pillar-based Operational Excellence programs.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in applying and coaching the tools listed above (Centerlining, CIL, SMED, etc.).
    • Experience in dedicated capability building or leading roles is a distinct advantage.
  • Change Catalyst:
    • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and embed organizational change processes.
    • A strategic thinker with a proactive approach to driving continuous improvement.
  • Inspirational Coach:
    • A servant leader with a strong team spirit, passionate about teaching, coaching, and developing talent at all levels.
    • Exceptional communication, organizational, and influencing skills to drive engagement and results.
  • Academic Foundation:
    • An Engineering Degree is required.
  • Language & Mobility:
    • Fluent English is a must.
    • Proficiency in Swedish is a significant asset.
    • Willingness to travel across Europe.

Location: This role is based at our plant in Upplands Vasby, Sweden, and involves regular business travel across Europe.
