In this exciting and varied role, you will execute initiatives through I2M (Innovations to Market) processes for the manufacturing site and ensure effective execution, coordination, tracking & communication of change as it relates to new and existing products, packaging and processes for the plant.
How you will contribute
You will:
- Lead independently projects within the scope of business development. Take full responsibility for project management.
- Work closely together with other project team members.
- Arrange fluent planning, scheduling, tracking and executing of the project.
- Direct and independent contact with business unit partners concerning new projects & new product development, relaunches, promo activities, etc.
- Arrange all relevant and necessary information for project from business unit side and operation (volume, timing, capacities, etc.).
- Prepare comments into Performance Development Review reports.
- Prepare relevant product cost drafts and regular updates on objectives, progress, project backlog, occurring impediments.
- Deliver frequent written project updates.
- Propose, evaluate and implement productivity projects outcomes, assuring continually material, manpower, organization and quality/design benchmarking process.
- Be in contact with conversion team, local and central Engineering and other plants in case of productivity (e.g. product transfers) and Capital Investments (e.g. process optimization, capacity, etc.)
- Participate on evaluation of the trials and test results with new raw and packaging materials done by R&D.
- Evaluate feasibility, impact on capacity/headcount and collaboration with suppliers during development implementation processes.
- Support commercialization of new products and processes in cooperation with R&D - process commissioning, sales samples preparation, participate in production start-up meeting, support start-up of production.
- Cooperate with R&D, QA, Engineering and Production
- Be the key contact person for non-manufacturing functions - marketing, R&D, procurement etc.
What you will bring

- Minimum one year of previous project management work experience in a global company
- Project management skills and knowledge, preferably in industrial manufacturing environment is highly appreciated
- Computer proficiency (MS Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written)
- Analytical & Problem solving skills
- Strong collaboration and relationship management skills
- Financial & business acumen highly appreciated
- Project management certification will be an asset
Main Responsibilities
- Lead Implementation of productivity projects - with focus on raw and packaging materials, including implementation of new specifications and supplier switches, etc. within agreed time and budget.
- Key contact for defined raw/pack supplier for project implementation, e.g. of
- New Product Development, new specification and supplier switches
- Provide supplier input in cross-functional meetings, eg.: project team meetings, etc
- Organize trial execution for supplier related projects (raw materials and packaging)
- Generate ideas of productivity projects linked to raw materials & packaging materials for category pipeline
- Strong linkage to key stakeholders to minimize waste/scrap costs
- Facilitate origination cost payments
Requirements
- University Degree is preferred.
- Experience in Commercialization/Procurement/Operations in a manufacturing or supply chain environment or similar role.
- Experience of working in a multicultural teams and environment.
- Worked in role with extensive multifunctional interaction/ exposure
- Languages: English & local language
