Our client, a leading and significantly growing FS business, is seeking an ambitious business led, lead Project Manager to join their Change team.
Essential skills and experience
- 5 years+ project management experience with at least 2 of those years spent within the Financial services
- Detailed knowledge of a variety of project methodologies, planning processes and techniques
- Significant experience of monitoring and reporting in a project environment
- Experience of managing multiple projects at least 6 months in length with £1m+ budgets
- Experience delivering medium cross-functional business change projects
- Experience of resolving conflicts within project environments
- Experience of delivering on complex, diverse, ambiguous and high value projects
- Complex stakeholder management
- Detailed knowledge of project constraints and complexity
- Detailed knowledge of risk management principles and their impacts on projects
- Management of teams of a minimum of 5 people
- Successful third party management
- Effective operating within uncertain and changeable environments
- Personally managing 2+ projects of the above characteristics
- Knowledge and experience of Agile and ideally Scrum
- Knowledge of the banking market, products and competitors
- Knowledge of banking regulatory and legislatory frameworks
- Certified Prince2 Practitioner or other relevant professional qualification
