We are recruiting for a Business Analyst to join our Client Change Insurance team on a 6 month fixed term contract basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who has good industry knowledge allied with effective operations and change experience.

Investment expertise means nothing if clients don’t experience it. Our business development and client experience teams build trusted relationships across regions, while our marketing, investment, and communications teams showcase what sets us apart – powering our growth.

A bit about the role:

As part of the Aviva Client Change team within the wider Aviva Investors Insurance & Investment Solutions function, this role plays a key part in supporting change delivery aligned to the strategic objectives and values of Aviva’s UK and Ireland Insurance businesses. You will work flexibly across Aviva Investors to analyse and map the existing operating model, assess current and future state, and complete detailed analysis of backbook data. A core focus of the role will be reviewing the current approach to collecting and storing data, and engaging business sponsors, stakeholders, and third‑party partners throughout. You will help maintain transparency of project status, escalating issues quickly with clear remediation options, and proactively identifying and managing risks throughout the project lifecycle. The role also includes assessing the impact of any proposed change on scope, timelines, cost and benefits, providing well‑reasoned options for Steering Committee decision‑making. In addition, you’ll support the timely production of materials for Working Groups, Committees and other forums, and produce accurate, comprehensive documentation – including project management artefacts, operating models and procedures – ensuring they are reviewed and approved in line with governance requirements.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Project Management qualifications e.g. PRINCE2, AgilePM, PMI or equivalent

  • Experience working within asset management - preferably with good private markets exposure and understanding

  • Evidence of successfully delivering end-to-end project analysis for a complex and changing organisation, addressing the ambiguity and conflicting demands that may result

  • Proven ability to deal effectively with issues in a proactive way that achieves the right outcome for both the client and the business

  • Experience delivering analysis in the investment / asset management industry impacting users from the front, middle and/or back office environments

What you’ll get for this role:

Our purpose - with you today, for a better tomorrow – is a promise we make to our colleagues too. And one of the ways we live up to that promise is by investing in you. We have so much to offer when it comes to being an Aviva colleague:

  • Competitive salary (depending on skills, experience, and qualifications).

  • Make your money go further with up to 40% discount on Aviva products, and other retailer discounts.

  • Up to £1,200 of free Aviva shares per year through our Matching Share Plan and share in the success of Aviva with our Save As You Earn scheme.

  • Brilliantly supportive policies including parental and carer’s leave.

  • Flexible benefits to suit you, including sustainability options such as cycle to work.

  • Make a difference, be part of our Aviva Communities and use your 3 annual volunteering days to help others.
