Gather and document business and functional requirements, map and improve processes, create user stories/use cases, support testing and UAT, and liaise between stakeholders and technical teams throughout project lifecycles.
BlackStone eIT is seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring that our projects meet stakeholder expectations and drive organizational success.
Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with product owners, developers, and QA testers to deliver effective solutions.
- Map out and analyze existing business processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Facilitate communication between business units and technical teams to enhance alignment.
- Create user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams to clarify requirements.
- Support the testing process by developing test cases and guiding users through user acceptance testing.
- Provide ongoing stakeholder support and documentation throughout project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficient in business analysis tools and techniques.
- Experience with Agile methodologies is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g., JIRA, Asana) is a plus.
