We’re looking for a Business Analyst who enjoys solving difficult technical challenges and wants their work to have real operational impact.

What You’ll Do

As a Business Analyst, you’ll help design, build, and deliver secure digital solutions in highly secure environments. You’ll work alongside engineers, architects, and delivery specialists to develop technology that enables faster, safer decision-making for critical operations.

 

Your work may include:

  • Gather, develop and document requirements for platforms and applications, including creating entity diagrams and applying relevant frameworks to accurately capture functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Advocate and implement best practices, providing guidance and education to colleagues and clients.
  • Apply and recommend industry-standard methodologies and patterns suited to the technology and domain.
  • Act as a liaison between IT teams and business stakeholders to ensure technical capabilities are fully leveraged to meet business objectives.
  • Offer platform and process expertise to support delivery teams.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients and cross-functional teams to drive project success.
  • Utilise data analytics to inform decision making and enhance business outcomes.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering professional growth and knowledge sharing.

What We’re Looking For

We value people who take ownership, think critically, and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team tackling complex challenges. You don’t need to tick every box, but we’re particularly interested in people with skills/experience in:

  • Business analyst experience on technical (ideally IT) projects 
  • Working within Agile and Waterfall environments, including Kanban.
  • Strong verbal and written communication 
  • Driven self-starter, keen to work in an agile & dynamic team 
  • Experience with Jira
  • Proven experience in a defence or government sectors would be ideal

Just as important are curiosity, strong problem solving ability, and the motivation to continuously improve how technology is designed and delivered.
