We are recruiting for a Business Analyst - Front Office to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who has strong asset and product knowledge (instruments/funds/fund structures/pricing etc), including the use of Derivatives and hedging strategies.

With a global remit spanning operations, transformation, and IT, our COO team ensures an exceptional client experience. Whether it’s optimising key processes, managing relationships with strategic partners, launching innovative new products, or onboarding clients seamlessly, every project is an opportunity to drive efficiency and innovation at scale.

A bit about the role:

This front‑office facing Junior Analyst‑Programmer role sits within our Data Science team at a leading blue‑chip Asset Management firm. We’re looking for someone who is self‑reliant, resourceful and proactive, with the confidence to share ideas and collaborate closely within a supportive team while also working independently when needed. Ideally, you’ll bring experience as a data analyst/programmer within the buy‑side asset management industry, though broader Financial Services exposure will also be valued. You’ll have worked on bespoke in‑house solutions for Front Office teams—including Portfolio Managers, Quant Analysts—and Investment Risk, using Python and related tools. To thrive in this role, you’ll be comfortable bridging both the technical and business worlds, communicating effectively with a range of stakeholders and producing clear, accurate documentation. With many projects starting from a blank page, strong analytical thinking and robust design skills will be key to your success.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Degree in Computer Science (highly desirable, but not essential), or other such recognised, formal, certified education in this field, e.g. Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate.

  • Industry specific knowledge: Demonstration of the end to end Investment Management Process, with particular focus on the Front Office and Investment Risk (Ideal, not essential)

  • Ability to have a business-oriented vision (essential)

  • Tactical and Strategic planning appreciation (Ideal, not essential

  • In-House Build experience (essential)
