Job Profile Summary

Supports the delivery of data-driven solutions by gathering, analyzing, and translating business and data requirements into functional specifications. Collaborates with business stakeholders, data engineering, analytics, and development teams to improve data processes, reporting, and platform capabilities. Leverages data insights to identify opportunities, drive improvements, and ensure solutions align with business objectives.

Essential Functions
  • Gather, analyze, document, and validate business, functional, and data requirements from key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with business, data engineering, analytics, and development teams to translate requirements into detailed functional specifications and user stories.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, risks, and opportunities that support business decision-making and process improvements.
  • Support the design and implementation of data-driven solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Partner with technical teams to define requirements related to data modeling, data pipelines, data integration, and reporting solutions.
  • Perform data analysis, validation, and testing to ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity across systems.
  • Facilitate requirements workshops, stakeholder meetings, and documentation reviews.
  • Monitor project progress and assist in identifying and mitigating risks, issues, and delivery impediments.
  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
  • Utilize domain knowledge and analytical skills to synthesize input from multiple stakeholders and recommend process improvements.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by developing test scenarios, validating results, and documenting outcomes.
  • Maintain project documentation, business requirements, process flows, and functional specifications using Jira and Confluence.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with data-intensive environments, analytics platforms, or enterprise data solutions.
  • Understanding of data modeling, data pipelines, Snowflake infrastructure, and API integrations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data requirements.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian Confluence and Jira for requirements management, documentation, and Agile delivery.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
Experience
  • Typically requires 2–5 years of Business Analyst experience, preferably supporting data, analytics, reporting, or technology initiatives.
