This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, driven, and fast-paced Brand Marketing team. You’ll be responsible for helping to build and grow some of the UK’s most successful radio brands. This role is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across some of the UK's biggest media brands while developing a broad range of brand and campaign marketing skills.

Measures of success – In the first few months, you would have
 

  • Developed a strong understanding of Global's brands, audiences and marketing strategy.
  • Become a trusted and valued member of the team, supporting the successful delivery of brand campaigns and projects.
  • Built strong working relationships with colleagues, agencies and key stakeholders across the business.
  • Taken ownership of day-to-day campaign coordination and project management responsibilities.
  • Contributed to campaigns that drive brand awareness, audience engagement and business growth.

Responsibilities of the role


  • Brand & Campaign Support: Support the Head of Marketing and Marketing Manager in delivering brand and marketing activity across Global's portfolio of audio brands, including Heart, Smooth, LBC, Classic FM and Radio X. Take day-to-day ownership of marketing activity for Capital Xtra, coordinating campaigns and projects while contributing to wider brand and business initiatives as required.

  • Brand Management: Support the planning and delivery of brand activity across partnerships, branded content and events.

  • Campaign Management: Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns across a range of media and creative channels. Coordinate assets, timelines and stakeholders to ensure campaigns are delivered efficiently and effectively.

  • Brand Guardianship: Help maintain consistency across all brand touchpoints by ensuring activity aligns with brand guidelines and objectives.

  • Media & Agency Management: Work closely with media agencies and internal teams to support campaign delivery, manage assets and track activity.

  • Talent Collaboration: Support marketing activity involving presenters, artists and their teams, helping coordinate campaigns and ensuring activity is delivered smoothly and effectively.

  • Insight & Reporting: Assist with campaign reporting, audience insight analysis and post-campaign reviews, helping identify opportunities and learnings for future activity.

  • Project Coordination: Organise and support internal and external meetings, events and campaign activity, including logistics, scheduling and stakeholder coordination where required.

What you will need
The ideal candidate will be proactive, solution-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, creative environment. Ideally, you will have:


  • Experience in a marketing, brand, media or communications role.
  • Experience supporting the delivery of marketing campaigns or projects.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards across multiple work-streams.
  • An interest in brands, media, entertainment and audience behaviour.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence building relationships with colleagues, agencies and stakeholders.
  • A willingness to learn and develop across all aspects of brand marketing.
  • A positive, adaptable and collaborative approach, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
