We’re a FoodTech scale-up with over £25m of funding, and we want to revolutionise food delivery through the licensing of ‘virtual’ food brands (brands designed for delivery), operated by anyone that runs a commercial kitchen - we think there’s about 70,000 of them in the UK. We offer kitchen operators everything they need to sell our brands through delivery Apps whilst continuing to run their existing operations. In short, we’re defining the future of the food delivery market!

Nobody’s growing as fast as us in the UK and Europe, and we’re looking for great people to join us on our journey. You will be responsible for delivering and driving our product and brand development process cross-functionally to support Peckwater Brands through its growth and scale processes.

The Role:

  • Identify high-growth cuisine categories: pull together data, opinion, and trends to understand which cuisine category is going to explode next.
  • Understand consumer behaviour on food delivery platforms: research key consumer missions and drivers of brand selection, and identify brand and merchandising signals that influence purchasing decisions.
  • Define our brand goals and positioning: based on your understanding of each cuisine category and our shopper, create brand profiles, including the key messages and signals we’re aiming to communicate.
  • Design highly appealing brands: use your understanding of food delivery consumers to create high-performing brands, differentiated from each other and the wider market.
  • Create and update our brands using third parties: bring the brand to life, including the creation of iconography, brand and menu descriptions, brand imagery, and product photography.
  • Ensure that our brand positioning aligns throughout the shopper experience: ensure that pricing and discounting, and menu design and product quality, align with the brand strategy.
  • Create and update an online brand presence using third parties: create and supervise digital profiles, including social media and influencer engagement.
  • Collect data and feedback to help us continuously improve: run shopper panels, collect CTR and CVR data, and look at impressions and AoV to decide what we can do better, then get it done.

About you:

  • You deeply understand food delivery and you’re a frequent user of delivery services.
  • You understand 18-35 yo’s and understand how to analyse and profile their shopping behaviours.
  • You’ve created and managed brands before, ideally as a Brand Manager at a major FMCG or CPG business.
  • You’ve managed third-party agencies before and understand how to contract with them.
  • You’re analytical, driven, and passionate - you work fast, autonomously, and hit tight deadlines.
  • You have a close eye for style, and you’re aware of colour and design trends.
  • You could name 4-5 hipster food brands that you love, and you think would inspire us.
